I watch sports on a regular basis, yet very rarely do I watch female sports. To be frank, I suppose it's simply because the quality just isn't quite as exciting. However one of the great things about the Olympics is that many of these female athletes are extremely gifted in these less popular sports (such as volleyball, track, gymnastics, swimming, etc). And to add to that some are also very attractive, even more so then models or movie stars. I personally am most attracted to the female soccer players, tennis players, volleyball players, or track athletes. In this post I'm simply going to highlight my top ten favorite female athletes based on their personalities, performance, and appeal.
10. Michelle Jenneke
Country: Australia
Event: 110m High Hurdles
Age: 23
Olympic History: 1st time
Championship History: 3rd place at Australian Championships 2011
Performance at Rio: Did not qualify out of 1st heat
Appeal: I first discovered her in a Coca Cola commercial, shaking her hips with her country's flag. She is very perky, always smiling and laughing during her events. She is best known for her pre-game dance before the 110m hurdles, where she shakes her hips. She is also a very talented hurdler having produced one of the 2nd fastest times in Australian history. Her performance at Rio was a disappointment however I'm sure she'll still have a promising career in either hurdling or modeling.
Country: USA
Event: Tennis
Age: 21
Olympic History: 1st time
Championship History: Australian Grandslam Semi-Final 2015
Performance at Rio: 4th place
Appeal: She has such a nice complexion and body. She is a natural competitor and also very attractive while she does it. She is still very young and hopefully she will soon replace Serena as the new American female tennis superstar.
8. Aly Raismin
Country: USA
Event: Gymnastics
Age: 22
Olympic History: 2 golds, 1 silver at London
Championshp History: 2 golds, 1 silver, and 1 bronze at World Championships
Championshp History: 2 golds, 1 silver, and 1 bronze at World Championships
Performance at Rio: 1 gold, 2 silvers
Appeal: She is of age, cute face, cute body, and at an above average height for a gymnast. She is a champion, having already proved herself at the London games, she returned to gracefully lead her team behind the superstar Simeone Biles and went on to win 3 more medals at Rio.
7. Christen Press
Country: USA
Event: Soccer
Age: 27
Performance at Rio: Knocked out in QuarterFinals
Appeal: She also has a very nice skin complexion and body. She is quick with the ball, a great dribbler, and a powerful finisher. Unfortunately she missed her penalty kick which caused the loss against Sweden, however the fault can never go to just one person. Team USA will always be back to dominate in women's soccer and Christen Press will surely continue to contribute.
6. Jessica Ennis- Hill
Country: Great Britain
Event: Heptathlon
Age: 30
Olympic History: Gold Medal at London
Championship History: 2 golds, 1 silver at the World Champions
Championship History: 2 golds, 1 silver at the World Champions
Performance at Rio: Silver
Appeal: She is a champion and proudly won her nation the gold medal when they hosted in London. At the Rio games she fell short of the gold, however still honorably achieved the silver medal. She is also very attractive, with an incredible body, nice complexion, and attractive face and smile.
5. Monica Puig
Age: 22
Olympic History: 1st time
Championship History: Silver at Pan American Games 2011, Bronze at Pan American Games 2015
Performance at Rio: Gold Medalist
Appeal: She brought Puerto Rico it's first ever gold medal. I just discovered who she was a few days ago, however find that she is a very attractive as usual tennis players are. She also has a nice complexion and very cute face.
4. Giulia Steingruber
Country: Switzerland
Age: 22
Olympic History: She finished 14th at the London Games
Championship History: 2 golds, 1 silver, 1 bronze at the European Games
Performance at Rio: Bronze in the Vault
Appeal: I discovered her a few nights ago as I watched the vault championships and found her to be yet another one of the few very attractive gymansts. I'm usually not as attracted to their kind because their too small and too young. However Guilia is one of the few exceptions once again that is of age, decent height, and a very cute face.
3. Alex Morgan
Country: USA
Age: 27
Olympic History: Gold at London games 2012
Championship History: World Cup champions 2015, Runners-up 2011
Performance at Rio: Loss to Sweden in the Quarterfinals
Appeal: She has such a pretty face, brunette hair, and slim body. She has been the face of Womens Soccer for the past 5 years now, and is just as good as she is pretty. She is very quick, deadly in the air, and a fierce striker. She is 8th on the all time female national scorers and surely has many years left to climb to the top with the likes of Abby Wambach and Mia Hamm.
2. April Ross
Event: Beach Volleyball
Age: 34
Olympic History: Silver at the London Games
Championship History: Gold at World Championships 2009
Performance Rio: Bronze Medal with Kerri Walsh
Appeal: I first saw her on a Gatorade commercial and quickly had to look her up. I think she has a very cute and unique face. She's tall, long legs, curly hair, sexy, confident, and a fierce competitor. I remembered she was on the team that loss in the final match against Misty May and Kerri Walsh in the 2012 gold medal match. This time in Rio she was teaming up with the 3 time gold medalist, Kerri Walsh, and surely they would be favorite to win gold. Unfortunately they fell short in the semi-final match, no thanks to a poor performance from the superstar partner Kerri Walsh. Nonetheless a silver and bronze medal are great trophies for Ross and she can go down as one of the greatest of female beach volleyball players.
1. Allie Long
Event: Soccer
Age: 29
Olympic History: First time
Championship History: None
Performance at Rio: Lost to Sweden in Quarterfinals
Appeal: She has such an exotic seductive look to her, especially in her eyes. She's tall, graceful, and a powerful blonde. She's an incredible soccer player, a formidable defender, and also deadly in the air. It's too bad she has just now been called up to the team, and not earlier in her career. However I can only imagine she'll be around for the many years to come, and will eventually have a national trophy to add to her resume.
